APCON ExtremeRun 24.8. Competition Info
Arrival at the venue
The address of the venue is Messuaukio 1, Helsinki. Each competitor will receive an electronic ticket to enter the email. ExtremeRun runs in Hall 7, which you can find on the maps and behind the fairground.
Numbers will be distributed on Saturday morning from 10:00 to 10:45 in Hall 7 in the ExtremeRun area.
The length of the route will be between 1000 and 1500 meters. Unfortunately, the length of the route will be narrowed to one meter here on Thursday evening. Currently, the fork is going to be the length of the route.
There will be 10 obstacles. The route map is available on the website. Other tires on the map are missing.
The ropes are only used in the initial qualifying round. There is only one attempt at rope climbing and if you fail to do so you will receive a 30 second time penalty that will "suffer" at that location.
The track is a labyrinth so there are plenty of tight bends along with obstacles and lots of braking and acceleration. Watch out for possible slippage in bends.
Although there is a lot of momentum on the track, be cautious, especially when you go into a creep or tubes. There is a great risk of knocking your head if you do not go down early enough.
When crossing cars, do NOT step on the windows! Glasses do not withstand stepping, striving tmv. a competitor will be fined 30 seconds for finishing the car glass.
The tire barrier (car tire bag) must travel inside the signposts. Crossing the strip will result in a 30 second time penalty.
Obstacles are not difficult or dangerous and are designed with safety in mind. However, if any obstacle proves to be too difficult or there are close proximity to safety, the obstacle will be closed. Remember to behave properly when making collective exits, not jerks, harassing others, etc.!
